ZAZ together with EDP Brasil is carrying out an action called Virtual Reality Project in Schools, the project aims to raise awareness among children and adolescents and will address ocean acidification.
The content offered to students covers topics such as co2 emissions, marine tourism, coral reefs and inappropriate land use practices. Younger children who cannot use technology will experience another augmented reality experience through tablets, also addressing actions that harm the oceans. After the experience, all students who participate in the action will respond to a survey. The project is in its 20th edition and is the main project of the EDP Institute. The initiative takes place in conjunction with the municipal education departments, promoting actions during the school period, aiming to improve the quality of student life. In 2022, the EDP institute plans to bring virtual reality to 41 schools supported by the program.
